I am broadcasting our service via a HD Sony video camera to a three year old Asus desktop computer. Ustream access is achived via a direct ethernet connection from a national carrier at full duplex - probably 100 mbs. I am also using a Pinnacle device called a Dazzle to transmit the audio/video signal from the camera to the desktop. From there I have appropriate connections to my mixer board.
We recently upgraded to Pro Broadcaster because I thought we could eliminate the audio latency that is visible during playback. The delay of the person talking and what you hear is about a 1/2 second out of sync. I would appreciate ANY/ALL feedback as it is crucial to achieving a professional appearance.

Can you please provide the following?
1. Model of Sony camera you are using
2. Model of Pinnacle Dazzle you are using and the interface you are using to connect it to your computer (USB/Firewire).
3. How is the camera connected to the Pinnacle?
4. Do you have an example of this? Maybe a link to a recorded video on Ustream
5. How is the mixing board connected to your computer? -
