I can confirm that the Blackmagic Intensity Extreme (Thunderbolt) http://www.blackmagic-design.com/prod... works perfectly with Ustream Producer Pro
I've tested it with both an NTSC camera over HDMI (HD 1080i/60 and SD 525/59.94i) and a PAL camera over HDMI (HD 1080i/50). I was unable to use the PAL camera in SD mode.
My current setup is live streaming from 3 cameras:
1. PAL over HDMI (HD 1080i/50) using Blackmagic Intensity Extreme
2. NTSC over Firewire in SD mode (I dont have the HDV plugin for Producer Pro but the picture quality is fine as I'm not streaming in HD yet)
3. Inbuilt "FaceTime" HD webcam on Macbook Pro
The switching works perfectly between the 3 cameras.

Great Pat! Thanks a lot for sharing your setup. I'm sure some other broadcasters will benefit from this info. What model MBP are you using and what's your final output resolution and bitrate?

No problem!
I use a mid-2011 15" MBP i7
The final output resolution & bitrate varies from broadcast to broadcast, but my current setup works with all quality setttings from Low to High -
