I tried without success to broadcast using Nikon DSLR camera D7000 (HDMI out), BlackMagic Intensity Extreme (HDMI IN) and MacPro Book (Thunderbolt). UStream Producer recognizes the converter but I get blank/black screen. Nikon resolution is 1080/24. It’s working with my Sony video camera.
How can set it to work the DSLR?
Thanks

Hi,
All outputs (size and frame rate) on the camera, BlackMagic, and Ustream Producer must be set exactly the same. So please ensure everything is set to 1080/24.
Here's how to adjust the settings in Ustream Producer:

Thanks Steve,
I tried again last night to set Nikon 1080/24 and UStream 1080/24 but I continue to get black screen. I also tried 720/24, 30 and 1080/30 without success. The Nikon does not have 1080/60 or 720/60.
How do i set BlackMagic to 1080/24? What settings should i set on Canvas (Procucer)?
Thanks. -

I've checked my D7000 and while it records at 1080/24 the D7000 is limited to a max HDMI output of 1080i at 60 or 50 Hz. So it's necessary to set everything to use the same exact 1080i/60 settings. Any mismatch along the line will cause a black screen.
The BlackMagic website states the Intensity Extreme supports 1080i60. I have not used your version BlackMagic but there should be a drop down box for this resolution within its settings.
Also ensure you have changed the D7000 to use 1080i/60 within the Setup (Wrench icon) menu. Check the HDMI menu Setup setting so that Auto is not selected, and 1080i is selected instead. Also confirm that the Flicker reduction setting is set to 60Hz and not to 50Hz.
Thank you, and keep Ustreaming!
