Not working any more, have you all retired?
For the two days I have been unable to access the Ustream web site, either the home page or my channel, https://www.ustream.tv/channel/midge-hall, have you any ideas why?

Hi Midgehall2,
Ustream website has been on and your channel is running as well. What do you see when trying to access the site? -

Perhap I should say that this is on WIndows 7 with IE 9. On another machine with XP and IE 8 it is still working well, so I've been using that machine to access the site.

Can you see the site using a different browser such as safari, Firefox or Chrome?

Hi,
Can you please see if your Flash Player is up to date?
Please visit this page and follow the steps there? http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507... -

Do you have possibly any ad ons installed and/or an ad blocker software?

Now, young lady, you are asking me something that I can’t really answer. The only answer I can give you is “Not that I am aware of”.
The only “security” software I have loaded to my knowledge is Bullguard - anti-virus; Malwarebytes – anti malware and Ad-Aware – anti spy ware. All of which I have been using for years and have never before interfered with Ustream. (they are all running on my XP machine and Ustream works fine on that). However I have disabled Malware Bytes and AD-aware and re-booted, checked that neither of them were still running and tried the page again, but it did not make any difference. I don’t really want to disable Bullguard.
Any ad-on’s in IE would not affect Chrome would they? And visa versa.
How would I check if I have any ad blocker software loaded that I haven’t installed myself? Or that I have inadvertently installed?
I’ll following is a copy of what little is loaded at Start-up, as you will see I have most of it disabled, but you might spot something.

Why do I get the feeling that you are getting sick of me :) I know I would be.

Hi Midgehall2,
Please don't worry, I am here to help.
Do you have a firewall running? -
-
-
-
Can you please try to disable the firewall and restart the browser after that?
-
-
Yep have done, no firewall at all and still same screen when I go into Ustream. Flushed temp files out first to make sure it reloaded page.

Hi Paul,
Can you please try private browsing mode? To see how to do that, please go to this link: https://support.google.com/chrome/bin... -

Hi Ivana
I take it that we wasted our time and that it was you’re lot with a stylesheets problem, although they haven’t sorted it yet, still no video but page loads now. Go and give them a slap round their heads.
Thanks

Hi Paul,
I would still try getting a different browser such as Firefox or Safari if you can and see if Ustream works on those. Otherwise if you can access Ustream from the other machine, I would suggest that. As you can see that you can access Ustream from your other computer, this is not something we can fix from our end. I am sorry I was not able to help you this time. -
