Ustream not recognizing Camtwist on MacBook Pro

Ustream is not recognizing cam twist on my MacBook Pro. I had this same problem on my iMac and changed Safari settings to open in 32 bit mode. I tried this for the MacBook Pro, but still can't get Ustream to recognize cam twist. What can I do?

Is there an alternative solution to Ustream crash other than Cam Twist? Apparently Cam Twist does not recognize audio from the video input device... I am using a mac.

  This does not help us with the problems we are now having since your company's upgrade recently. I can't stream videos or pictures since that time.

This didnt help. I have the exact same problem. Camtwist isn't an available option in my video sources and this video just shows what effects you can use on camtwist and does not go into detail on how to choose camtwist from your video inputs.

I am having the same problem, in the select video source on the ustream setting in cant not see camtwist or any input connected to the Firewire 800 port.
how ever these work well with skype but not on ustream...

I have the same problem!! help!
I'v tried reinstalling camtwist but it still can't be recognized by ustream when i select the video source input. So frustrating! here's what i did:

After successfully installed camtwist, i set up desktop as video source,
then chose full screen as settings. Am I missing something else here? I followed the steps shown on youtube regarding the setup. anyway, after that i opened my browser (used both firefox and safari) to open ustream. went to broadcast then when i select the video source input, it only has 1 option that is 'built-in isight'. I can't get it to broadcast my desktop!!

I'm sorry i might be missing something here can anyone from camtwist help me out! would much appreciate it!

Using a macbook I've had the same issue getting camtwist recognized as a video source. It didn't work with ustream or livestream.
The solution I found is to download the desktop application, ustream producer or livestream procaster, then,

- this is the important part -

Go into the camtwist preferences and add the desktop application, ustream producer or livestream procaster, to the list of video applications camtwist should load in.
